Hey I was at the Jazz Showcase to check out Willie Pickens featuring Ira Sullivan. Ira was great! He had a mastery of several instruments that was really a showstopper. On the second set Willie and the guys had a chance to stretch out and played “Moments Notice” by John Coletrane, I have loved this song for so long, I am determined to write lyrics to it. I’ll keep you posted!! ; )
